Degen Armory
As mentioned in the Hot Tokens This Week section above, there is a new platform I think everyone in the Web3 space needs to be aware of. Especially if you are an Avax fan. It may not be a tool or resource, per se. But it can be valuable for “Crypto-Twitter” folk to gain a strong and ingeniously monetized audience.
Stars Arena rebranded and relaunched, becoming The Arena. A decentralized social network, or SoFi platform which almost acts as a layer on top of X, as it requires new users to use their X account to get started, and clones their profile. Users of Friend.Tech will be familiar with the model. However, it can have a bit of a learning curve for newcomers. But if you play around with it it should all become clear.
Either way, we will be doing a full writeup and how-to guide on it in the very near future. For now, here is what you need to know.
It runs on Avalanche (Avax) but doesn’t require any deposits to get started.
It allows users to tip one another with a variety of memecoins, as well as Avax.
All users get a social currency of their own, called tickets. The more value you provide the more people will want to buy them and the higher their value will go.
Tickets unlock exclusive access to the creator.
Users accumulate a portion of the trading fees of their tickets in the form of Avax.
Interactions result in Points, which provide an airdrop. Presumably of The Arena’s token (I’m still figuring this out.
This platform is still relatively new and is picking up steam every day. Getting in early is your best bet to grow your following and accumulate some impressive rewards.
